Pastor Matt has been involved in Pastoral ministry for the last 22 years. He and his family moved to Merritt in November 2022. Since then he has grown to deeply appreciate the Nicola Valley with all of it's quirks, amenities and people. His greatest loves in no particular order are Jesus, Starbucks, Naomi, the Philadelphia Eagles, Asher, Annika, Moriah and Mini Coopers. Mention Starbucks or the Eagles around him, and he will take you out for a coffee, his treat! In all honesty though, Pastor Matt is here to help you with your faith, whether it's about getting set free, learning to hear God's voice, or just being a friendly voice to encourage and help you on your walk with Jesus. Hello, my name is Savannah. I graduated from Summit Pacific College in 2024 with a major in child and family leadership. I have loved working with children since I aged out of the programs myself. I have started learning how to work with preteens and teens as well, and have enjoyed learning about all next gen things. I love to plan and run fun events. In my free time I like to work with yarn and play disc golf. I am excited to be in Merritt, getting to know the community, and sharing the love of Jesus.
